What is proof?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , on May 8, 2012 by exploringthehoax

The reader should be aware, if they aren’t already, that I have never stopped hoaxing. I’m almost ashamed to admit it; I have continued to follow the MJ Death Hoax dutifully on a daily basis online since July 17th 2009 (and offline since June 25, 2009), regardless of my recorded online contributions on this wordpress site. Several are already probably aware of the fact that I began moderating the largest hoax site Michael Jackson Death Hoax Investigators forum last summer, after maintaining a regular presence there since it’s inception. For those who aren’t, it’s very nice to meet you, I am bec.

What I have quit doing is attempting to “prove” the hoax by compiling the supportive evidence that I have uncovered and presenting it in a such a way that might convince an audience of it’s factual nature. I found it largely a lesson in frustration. It was no minor surprise to me that people, in general, will believe what they want to believe, and are largely close minded to avenues they never personally considered prior. In other words, if one didn’t think of it first, the information will be largely and universally rejected regardless of validity.

People need to be ready to consider the radically unconventional. It is a very personal journey towards getting ready to open one’s mind to possibilities that society deems “impossible”. I can now imagine that the Wright Brothers and Nikola Tesla faced similar resistance to their ideas.

The Michael Jackson Death Hoax is fantastical and unprecedented. The only similar historical examples we can site is the Elvis Death Hoax and possibly the Andy Kaufman Death Hoax, and due to their to-date uncompleted status (and in the case of the latter, unlikely) of these hoaxes, they actually more strongly support the invalidity of the MJDH rather then the opposite. This mention aside, the MJDH is a unique animal, and I have routinely found myself in uncharted territory just trying to define it.

But as we press forward, and as the calendar pages fly by, the theory of the MJDH strengthens rather then weakens. Skeptics point to the duration of time as a sign that MJ really is dead, or at very least, is not coming back. The problem with this short sighted and extremely shallow theory is it fails to take into account the heaps of evidence we have collected, compiled, and that still continues to trickle down to us from the shadowy Puppetmaster behind the curtain. I would reasonably expect, after working the hoax (aka ‘hoaxing’) since July of ’09, if this were a fantasy type product of a collective mind, that the “clues” would become more obscure, less frequent, and eventually dry up as we get 1, 2, and now very nearly 3 years from the date of the alleged death. I would also expect that as we Hoaxers become less reclusive, and more visible, that the Jackson Family and/or the Estate would be inclined to take some steps to shut us down. At very least, the Estate ought to make some effort to ask that we cease and desist the use of MJ’s name and image on our heavily traveled and well known website, MJDHI.

By contrast, both the Family and the Estate seem increasingly aware of our online presence and is silent on the subject. I take their silence as approval that we continue.

Now perhaps MJ made it is wish, communicated to the family and the Estate, that a faux-Death Hoax become his legacy after his real earthly passing to give the fans and the public some sort of sense of mystery and intrigue going forward, effectively forever contributing to the Master Showman’s Life of Illusion, he would have a fitting Death of Illusion as well, akin to Elvis, and the cultural phenomenon his passing has become since 1977.

However, this fails to take into account the oddities and irregularities that accompanied Conrad Murray’s mans.laughter case in the fall of 2011. The Jackson Family would have no influence over toys placed in the courtroom during hearings and trial, no influence over the missing letters masquerading as typos in the Prosecution’s power points (that were, incidentally, predicted by a mysterious username on the MJDHI forum months prior), nor would they be able to write and submit a script that included the wording of “alleged victim” during the reading of the verdict at trial’s end. The Jackson Family simply could not have pulled this off as a hoax themselves to honor an actually dead MJ.

The skeptic will press forward and throw the hardball question, if the Jackson Family couldn’t do it, how could an alive MJ have done it?

This is a legitimate question. HOW, does one propose, in the Hoaxer point of view, that Michael Jackson has pulled this off? Well the skeptic will gleefully pounce upon my answer as a sign of weakness of my (our) theory when I say, I haven’t any idea.

I don’t see this as a weakness in the Death Hoax theory however, as I concede my complete inability to be able to knowledgeably or effectively ascertain the legalities of a Death Hoax in the first place. Additionally it should be noted, I lack knowledge and experience in the entertainment field and of moving making in general.

However, it should be noted, that it makes good common sense to presume that one considering a Death Hoax as an entertainment project, would retain the best lawyers that money can buy, prior to launch.

If we are to determine, for lack of a better way to describe this Death Hoax “project”, that the whole thing and all the events of and following June 25th, 2009, publicly known as “The Death of Michael Jackson”, is a sort of real time, live action, reality based movie, it would effectively explain the entire bizarre stage play we have witnessed.

And that is enough for one entry. I’d like to say I will be back, though I don’t know that I can commit to that. I am satisfied we will see an end to this one day, perhaps this year, which will validate what I have said, and wholeheartedly believed since July 17th, 2009. If I have learned anything at all it is this: Thing are not always as they seem when it comes to Michael Jackson. The line between truth and fiction is a flexible membrane.

Michael Jackson is dead, just like Elvis…

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , on December 22, 2010 by exploringthehoax

Much has been said about the similarities between Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, both in life and in apparent death, and more recently, in their hoax deaths as well. But not much has been said about what the similarities indicate nor what they mean. This sentiment was posed to the group on MJHDI today as the question:

i don’t get the connection between Michael and Elvis, except he married Lisa.
If Elvis faked his death, by the way how old is he not meaning to be rude, how does that imply Michael’s hoax too?

It’s a good question. So what if Elvis did fake it.  What does this have to do with Michael Jackson’s hoax death? The following is my response cut and pasted from the forum:

Bear with me because it gets complicated and it’s best if I talk it out.

Elvis having faked his death (the notion of) has become a curiosity of sorts in American culture. It’s cliche if you will, like a joke. It’s a light-hearted and funny fantasy, though the vast majority thinks it’s just that, a joke or fantasy, the concept of Elvis still being alive is something that everyone can laugh about. It’s a subject guaranteed to evoke a snicker or chuckle in a fun way. Haha Elvis is alive and rides the bus to bingo every Sunday…

In the late 70’s there were a rash of Elvis “sightings” just like that, Elvis doing routine, mundane, every day people things and it became material for urban legends. Example: I saw Elvis at the Quick Pik buying eggs and milk. I saw Elvis driving an El Camino with steer horns on the grill. I saw Elvis hanging out at the bowling alley on fish fry night.

And then we have the Elvis impersonators.

Turned into a joke of course. As conspiracy theories go, it’s unique in a way as the Elvis hoax death is one conspiracy everyone can smile about. How fun if it was true but how utterly ridiculous an idea…

So along comes MJ’s death. And from day one multiple sources, media, family, friends, have all been drawing parallels between MJ’s death and Elvis’s death, and this is an example of a rabbit hole. A rabbit hole is a lead that draws players into an Interactive Web Based Alternate Reality Game. Elvis and MJ. Elvis and MJ. MJ died just like Elvis died. It’s just like Elvis. Just like Elvis….

So then you take a closer look. How much is it just like Elvis? Well we have this and this and this…. and this…and this… and omg this this this this this… you get the idea.

Many of these things are things that MJ chose to do/wear/say/arrange and there are so many of them it leads one to wonder, why the F is MJ emulating Elvis so much?

And if MJ spends much of his life emulating Elvis, how crazy is it that his death seemed SO similar to Elvis’s… the circumstances, the timing, the players involved…

So then as we investigate we find it is clear that MJ purposely emulated Elvis in multiple facets of his life, his art, his music, his clothes, his associations, his interests… even emulating his death? It’s not a stretch of imagination, it seems the only logical conclusion. The mountains of similarities are overwhelming evidence. It’s like if you fill your home with Beenie Babies, wear Beenie Baby themed clothes, spend time on Beenie Baby websites, have Beenie Babies on your desk at work, write poems about Beenie Babies, and then request that you be buried with Beenie Babies…. I can safely deduce that you like Beenie Babies and no one would accuse me of just jumping to that conclusion.

So why did MJ spend so much time emulating Elvis’s last 6 months of life in his own last 6 months of life? From the press conference at the O2 to the doctors to the concert posters to the home he rented to the dates to the title of the productions to the way he walked/talked/moved on stage all of a sudden… coincidence then that he then up and ended up dying just like him?

Then after the death… the numerology… same for both men… same connections from life to death in the numbers, the Mayan calendar, Lisa Marie and the things she has said, now the court case and Jesse and maybe he isn’t dead after all?

Elvis could actually be dead and it wouldn’t matter. All that matters is the context in which American culture and the American populous regards Elvis and his hoax death idea.

I say the mountains of similarities between Elvis and MJ, live and dead, are not coincidental. I say the parallels were loaded up so that people would start to catch on to the joke. It’s necessary for MJs death hoax to become just as much a joke as Elvis’s death hoax. It’s the biggest early hint in this whole thing. MJ is dead just like Elvis… who’s memory has gone on to be forever linked in everyone’s mind with DEATH HOAX. The connection starts everything off on the right foot and it’s been paraded in front of us from Day One. In my opinion, the purpose is this: MJ intends to do what MJ always does and does best… he’s going to one-up Elvis.

Because as we all know, a come back is sensitive. It must be done properly. The PR campaign is crucial. And it will be done right, have no doubt. Comparing MJs hoax death to Elvis’s hoax death sets off the right tone. It’s fun and light hearted and silly. Not shady and fraudulent and deceitful. It’s all for love and all for fun.

He’s going to do what Elvis did except he’s going to do it better. Like Prince doing 20 O2 concerts? MJ is gonna do 50 (remember that report?). Elvis does a hoax death and stays dead. Big deal. Anyone can pull that off. MJ gonna do a hoax death and come back. Now THAT is a big deal.

Lisa Marie told us on day 001

On June 26, 2009, Lisa Marie Presley blogs:

Years ago Michael and I were having a deep conversation about life in general.

I can’t recall the exact subject matter but he may have been questioning me about the circumstances of my Fathers Death.

At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, “I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.”

I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that.

14 years later   I am sitting here watching on the news an ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the Cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears.

She tried to deter him from the IDEA???

On 6-26, I’m pretty sure everyone read this as “thought” as in “I promptly tried to deter him from the thought (of dying of a drug overdose)” without even blinking, instead of noticing the written word “IDEA”. Using the word IDEA here changes the entire meaning of what she expresses in this sentence. LMP essentially SAID: “I promptly tried to deter him from the idea (of faking his death like my Dad).”

(Edited to Add: I just noticed LMP said “14 years later”… you mean to tell me it was conveniently and coincidentally 14, 7+7 years since this convo between MJ and LMP about MJ dying like Elvis took place? Not 13 or 15 but 14 years on the dot and she remembers this fact clearly. Tell me if you can remember exactly how many years ago you had deep personal convos with your loved ones and you can precisely and confidently state how many years ago it occurred because there’s not a chance on a bet that I could. I’m best off to say something like “a few years ago” or “several years ago”, or “maybe 5 or 6 years ago…?” But rarely can I rattle off exactly how many years it has been since x,y,z event and produce it so effortlessly. Now you might say “well, but LMP was blogging this so she had a chance to think back and record the number accurately before she posted.” Yes. Ok. True. But the fact remains that this profoundly prophetic convo took place ironically and coincidentally in a number of years ago divisible by 7… the number of the hoax. Not to mention she felt the number of 14 years important enough to include in this blog.)

Holy Shiznut.

And there’s more.

He was an incredibly dynamic force and power that was not to be underestimated.

No kidding LMP. This line makes even more sense after 11 months of investigating this hoax.

Someone picked up on this line shortly after 6-25-09 but the following statement is also relevant to what we now have a greater appreciation for.

When he used it for something good, It was the best and when he used it for something bad, It was really, REALLY bad.

Mediocrity was not a concept that would even for a second enter Michael Jackson’s being or actions.

This sentence is interesting, as well as the choice of words and the capitalization of The Scenario (LMPs doing in the original blog, see link following this entry)

As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching on the news almost play by play The exact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted.

Hint. The exact Scenario. TS.

Ok, that’s seriously spooky and I just noticed it while typing this entry in. I have no idea what to make of it.

Last item in the 6-26-09 LMP blog that is worth looking at with 11 month old eyes is the second to last line in the entry:

The World is in shock but somehow he knew exactly how his fate would be played out some day more than anyone else knew, and he was right.

Is it possible LMP is only “in the know” because of the conversation she had with Michael years ago (where she presumably discussed her father’s fake death), and was only slightly less surprised then we were on 6-25-09? I imagine her on the couch watching the helicopter transport the body going “why you crazy bastard, you went and did it after all.”

Interesting stuff.
